Shïppa-63 is the musical project of Mark Hoy from Kingscliff, on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Describing himself as a Solo Band, his aim is to create the sound of a full 3+ piece band, playing all guitars, bass, drums and keyboards, as well as providing all vocals and harmonies. With a music style heavily influenced by British Pop/Rock/Punk (Blur, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Radiohead, Fischer-Z, The Sex Pistols, The Damned, Doves, etc) as well as the sounds of some current bands such as Silversun Pickups, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Band of Skulls, Shïppa-63 provides an eclectic mix of songs guaranteed to please the harshest critic…or so he hopes.
Shïppa-63's first album, Pas Rien, was released in 2016.

Shïppa-63’s second EP, Hypochondria, released in 2018, contains extra evidence of his growth as a record producer. With 7 tracks, including the first single Hard Driven (a driving rock song in the vein of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), the Britpop/rock stylings of The girl With No One To Love and the Glam Rock  throwback title track, Hypochondria.

In 2019, the third EP, Unentitled, entered its embryonic stage, with its final outing coming in early 2020.

In 2021, Journey in Sound, a remastered offering of the best bits from Shïppa-63 was released. Containing 14 tracks, it is a solid display of the diversity of the artist.

All 4 of these releases are available on all on-line providers (AppleMusic, Amazon, Spotify, Bandcamp, etc).
